Reindeer Manor and Uncle Stinky's Playhouse

The 13^th Street Morgue, Reindeer Manor, and Uncle Stinky's Playhouse are all on the same huge piece of land. There is a free hayride that takes you from the free parking area to the attraction area. The only movie house in Red Oak is located here, and it is showing scary movies for absolutely no charge. I have put all of these reviews together because if you come out to this location and don't buy the combo ticket you are crazy. Don't forget to bring a canned food item for every combo ticket purchased and get 5 dollars off, making it 20 bucks for some excellent and unique entertainment. Red Oak isn't very far out of Dallas. I was very excited to be able to attend Reindeer Manor this year. It was a pleasant surprise that they have added on a new smaller attraction known as Uncle Stinky's Playhouse! Uncle Stinky's is a great attraction that is included with the combo ticket. It is smaller than the others, but there are plans to make it much larger in the future.

Reindeer Manor is an attraction that has been around for over 30 years now, and their experience with scaring people really shows. The haunted house has an incredible true story behind it, and I strongly encourage you to check it out at www.reindeermanor.com before going out. Once you enter the haunt, you will know that this place is different than any other attraction you have ever been to. Rather than just walking through dark hallways with the occasional scene with a prop that startles you, you are part of an engaging story. It feels as though you are part of a movie. There are so many things with this haunted house that will not just make you jump, but will seriously creep you out later!

There are so many actually free things at this attraction. There is a free movie theatre that plays old black and white scary films, a free hayride (that takes you from the free parking to the haunt grounds), and free huge pyrotechnic shows throughout the night.

I consider this to be one of the best values in North Texas. If you are out here, don't even consider just going to one of the attractions…buy the combo ticket! If you bring a canned food item (one per person) you will get 5 dollars of the price of the combo ticket, making it 20 dollars! That will get you into Reindeer Manor, 13^th Street Morgue, and Uncle Stinky's Playhouse! Keep in mind that the parking is free, and to bring some extra cash for all of the fun vendors and to buy some of their excellent chili-pie!
