Naughtrite Dedical Center For
our first review of the night we had a chance to see the all new
haunted attraction in Arlington called Naughtrite Dedical Center. This
haunt is located in the Lincoln Town Square off of Interstate 30 and
Collins Street.
A strip mall haunted attraction can be a
bummer for some people because they are usually not themed very well on
the outside and it just obviously doesn’t fit in. I think the haunt
owners struggle with outside decorations many times because of the
limitations placed by the property owners. That’s where the cleverness
of Naughtrite Dedical Center begins though. Since this whole haunted
attraction revolves around being a medical center it makes sense for
the haunt to be where it is. When pulling up you can see some creepy
lights in the windows but even the entrance looks just like a doctor’s
office. Naughtrite’s authenticity is continued when you go to the
“check in” counter to buy your ticket. Everything about this place is
themed well. We went through with a group of 3 and due to the
time of night it wasn’t extremely crowded. After “checking in” you
continue to a large room where you are told a little about the story
and you are informed of all of the haunted house rules. From then on
you just take a journey through the experience of seeing a doctor,
being admitted, and even eating in the hospital. The decorations
are sometimes scarce…but when they are there everything looks really
great. Many times you will really feel like you are in a hospital or
doctor’s office…a really demented one. The actors are probably
the greatest part of this haunted attraction. Every single person did
his or her job and did it extremely well. Our favorites were the
janitor and the lunch “lady.” We had a lot of fun here and I
recommend you check it out. It’s near a lot of restaurants and if you
go to one in Lincoln Town Square and then show your receipt you will
receive 2 dollars off the 14 dollar admission. Medical offices
already make many people shudder but this place will really make you
scream!
