Hangman's House of Horrors

Hangmans is in a very convenient spot in Fort Worth. They have a huge parking area that is absolutely free.

I have heard so much about this attraction in recent years. Most of the people I've spoken with really love it, and it supports a fantastic charity.

This haunted attraction is in it's 18th year of production. Over the last 18 seasons, they have really perfected the craft.

There are four haunted houses that are included with the combo ticket. Cirque de Fantoms is a traditional clown-gone-bad themed haunted attraction with some really great effects and scares. We checked out the 3D Funhouse after that and it was very cool. There are no live actors and really nothing that horribly scary in this one, but the things they do with light and colors and the glasses that you were are amazing! If you have children and want to bring them to an attraction, this is really the place to take them. The 3D Funhouse will really allow your kids to have fun and not be scared at all, while you can get a chance to check out the scarier stuff. Hillbillies Revenge is another attraction that is just a short walk through of a redneck themed haunt. There are tons of details and hilarious things in this walkthrough, so take your time and try to catch it all in this one.

The main haunt is actually called the House of Horror. This one took us over 30 minutes to walk through, and there were some incredible things to see inside. The theme this year is Most Wanted. You will see some of the worlds most gruesome killers from television, film, and history. Most of the scenes are so decked out with props that they really immerse you in the world of the killer. In my opinion, the most notable scene is a pirate section. Just a ridiculous amount of work and expense had to go into this area, it was very incredible. I think I may have even smelled the ocean...

Hangmans uses almost all of the funds for local charities and programs. Some of the proceeds also benefit the American Cancer Society, a Wish with Wings, the Humane Society of North Texas, the Lone Star Film Society, and SafeHaven of Tarrant County.

You could pay for each attraction separately, which would wind up costing around 34 bucks. Or you could be smart and just buy the combo ticket for 20 dollars. That is a great price considering all that you get. There is even a karaoke stage where you can embarrass yourself in front of potentially hundreds of strangers. They also have a stage setup for many live performances, a great pumpkin patch, and of course some great food and drinks available.

If 20 dollars is too steep or if you just like saving some money, they have plenty of other promos. You can go by any Tarrant County Blockbuster or Papa Johns and get a 2 dollars off coupon or get a 20 ounce coke bottle and attend on October 25 for buy one get one free!
